Virtual Reality was something that was seemingly impossible to some for a long while, with it’s high price it was as if it was meant only for the wealthy or enthusiasts. AMD has recently announced their new GPU (Graphics Processing Unit, you put it into your PC and you can play nicer looking games). What a GPU does is render things in a game or animation, a better GPU will be able to render what is needed to be at a higher FPS, a CPU (Central Processing Unit) also is a necessity to have the computer simply operate, but a GPU is still more impacting unless you skimp out on the GPU and put all your money into the CPU. AMD’s new GPU will be VR ready, it’s pricey to buy a card that is ready for VR at the moment, they tend to cost $300+ brand new, obviously cheaper used. The RX 480 will be priced at an affordable $199, it may seem expensive for a single part of a computer, but it makes all the difference. AMD is appealing to the people who don’t want to spend that much money on their computers to get amazing visuals on their games, they make PC gaming more appealing to anyone into gaming.
