Text Books

Text books are something all of us college students dread to buy. They are expensive and heavy and just so boring to read. We ask our selves why do we really need them? We spend so much time before quarters trying to get the cheapest price on these bricks.

Wouldn't it be awesome just to have these huge masses of texts in digital form? This is possible but you will pay the same price as a normal text book. I think that text books should come in digital form but not as expensive . We are in a new time of age where we are always moving and that we don't always have the time to whip out our textbook when we have small amounts of time. I understand that we have to pay the writers for their time but I thought most of the price was supposed to pay for the paper and the binding. I hope in the future digital text books will be the normal format and we should be able to rent them easily and cheaper.

But this also brings out another debate. Do we have enough space on our computers , tablets and phones to hold these huge massive files? This is where I think that we should have cloud storage for text books. This would be a great idea because they will be easy to access . This also brings out the struggle for needing to be connected to the internet.

Text books are so complicated and I wish we could just get rid of them. But those massive piles of text are here to stay.
