TECHNOLOGICAL CULTURE AND TRANSHUMANISM. THE PERSPECTIVE OF A PERMISSIVE FUTURE

This article talks about technological culture and transhumanism, the way of thinking about our future. In fact, technology makes our life open, so everything can be seen and transparent to others. How can we remove deficiencies from our life using technology? For instance, choosing the favorable genes for human beings in order to insure enhanced community, better lifestyle, and to eliminate unfortunate diseases. However, this will have many disadvantages such as posing danger to the environment and other inhabitants, and unconformity to our religious point of view. This process can change the nature of the relationships by seeking perfect mankind in the messy middle that seems unrealistic.
