Kid Falls Into Gorilla Pit

What has happened to parenting? I was discussing this topic with my friend Melody from Everett community college when I discovered this story. A kid falls down a gorilla pit and one 17 year old gorilla meets his fate. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x4FrAWaGatI . In my opinion they shouldn't of shot the gorilla first off. They should of had a bunch of people shoot it with a tranquilizer. All though, it does make sense of why they did shoot it. I think that the fence should of been something a small child could not crawl under. The parent should of been holding the kids hand. It's sad to see animal die. This is a lesson for all that we should watch our children when going to the zoo. Kids do not think logically sometimes and really get anxious and fall down pits.
